My approach to speech therapy intervention is that it should be fun, age-appropriate and designed to maximize skills and reduce frustrations. While I may have expertise in speech and language development, I believe that the caregiver is the expert on the child. Parents are welcome to be involved in the session, learn techniques to increase carryover of skills and partner together to achieve the best outcome for the child.
I've been a speech-language pathologist since 2007 and have experience in early intervention, articulation and phonology treatment, and language development. I am married with two children and enjoy reading, spending time outside and good coffee.
